On April 4th, the Celebration of the Humanities Committee dedicated this year’s contest and ceremony to MJC Foundation Executive Director George Boodrookas. George was honored for his work to support the arts and humanities at the College. George attends many performances, concerts and gallery shows. His love and enthusiasm for the work of our students, faculty and staff is inspiring. George meets requests for help with a “let’s make it work” attitude and it is always a pleasure to partner with the Foundation team to create fundraising events.
By telling the stories of college alums, George has helped us reconnect with community members who appreciate the role MJC has played with their accomplishments.
